FAQs
How do I clean the product?
To avoid damages please ensure the observance of the following instructions:
• Use mild, fast-drying household spray glass cleaning solutions with ammonia and water. Ammonia concentration not to exceed 1.5% of weight.
• Use a lint-free paper cloth that is non abrasive or a soft cotton cloth without seams, buttons, plastic or metal parts.
• Pre-moisten glass surface with water or cleaning solution to loosen dried dirt and debris before attempting to wipe it away - never scrape with a metal blade or tool
• Never use abrasive household detergents as cleaning agents.
• Never attempt to remove debris /dirt from the glass by using a scraper or razor blade.
• Never trap abrasive particles between the cloth and the glass surface while wiping away the cleaning solution.
Is it easy to install the product?
For ad notam it is very important that our products can be installed easily and safely. Therefore, the Rainscreen should only be installed by qualified personnel who are familiar with the regulations for installations in wet and damp areas. A mounting frame for flush and watertight wall installation is included in the delivery scope.
Does the product come with integrated loudspeakers?
Yes, the product is equipped with invisible surface loudspeakers.
Is the screen completely invisible when switched off?
This depends on your selection of the glass type. We offer different glass types depending on your application needs. The Magic Black Glass completely vanishes the screen when turned off.
Doesn`t the humidity in bathrooms affect the product?
No, the product can be safely installed in bathrooms zone 0 (IPX5 rating).
For installations in wet-rooms specific installation guidelines apply. These regulations differ by region. Please contact a specialist for this. In Germany electrical installations are to be performed by a skilled technician, while observing the regulations of the Standard DIN VDE 0100 T.701.
